Hello. I'm new to this blog world and just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Sarah and I'm a 27 yr old girl born and raised in what I like to call Mt. Perfect. I am obsessed with the pursuit of a tailing red fish. I love the outdoors and anything to do with salt water. Unfortunately, I am occasionally forced to pile into a bridesmaid dress and trapse down the aisle. I guess you could say I'm a tomboy. Although, now that I'm aging, I have been trying to become a little more prissy.
Today I wanted to tell you a little bit about the glorious place that we call home. Mt. Pleasant is a very special place. The landscape alone is undescribeable. You can be standing at the end of Pitt St. Bridge and have panaramic view down the Intracoastal Waterway, the back of Sullivan's Island, The Charleston Harbor, Old Village and Downtown Charleston. There are so many places you can go to just take it all in.
The next best thing about Mt. Perfect is the people. I whole heartedly love my fellow Mt. Pleasantians. Somehow, we've manged to keep that small town feel. You can walk into a restaurant and see old high school friends or even family members. We just have great people here. The people make Mt. Pleasant what it is.
Let's move on to food. Oh the food. It is so good. We have so many choices that it sometimes becomes a problem. You can find delicious seafood, breakfast, sandwiches, gyros, tacos, burgers and even sushi. Mt. Pleasant has no shortage on good food and worthwhile calories.
What I love the most about Mt. Perfect is the feeling of home. Every time I leave, I can't wait to come back over the Ravenel Bridge and get that perfect feeling of contentment. Not many things give me that feeling, but coming home does and I hope I never take that for granted. I hope you don't either.
