Pay What You Can This Weekend at Patriots Point
Popular discount returns for a second year.

Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum is kicking off the New Year with a bang. The museum’s popular ‘Pay What You Can’ Weekend returns January 5-6. For this weekend only, normal parking and admission fees will be waived and visitors will be invited to explore the museum for any price they can afford.
“We recognize that times are tough for many Americans – especially after the holiday season,” said Patriots Point Executive Director Mac Burdette. “Some families may not be able to afford to pay anything while others may have a limited amount they can dedicate to this purpose. That’s fine with us. ’Pay What You Can’ Weekend is our way to provide everyone with an opportunity to visit our museum regardless of their financial situation.”
Last year, Patriots Point hosted the first ‘Pay What You Can’ Weekend for South Carolina residents. This year, the museum is expanding on the offer and inviting any and every one to visit regardless of where they call home.
