Police: Witnesses ID Oyelowo As Bridge-Jumper

For the first time since a woman reportedly jumped off of the Ravenel Bridge on Dec. 9, Charleston Police have identified the woman.

Police reports from , a MUSC student who was reported missing on Dec. 9,.

Here is a statement released today by spokesman Charles Francis:

We have eyewitnesses who have positively identified Tosin Oyelowo as the woman who jumped off the Ravenel Bridge. We recovered her car at the foot of the bridge and some of her personal items from the scene. Now we are in a recovery mode when it comes to finding her body. The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, the United States Coast Guard and the Charleston County Rescue Squad are assisting us in this effort.
