The CCSD School Board has told us time and again it has no money for projects that are not on their current budget, but surprise there is an extra $2,891.630.00 laying around to develop software that will help them evaluate educators.
Ok, so it's really not laying around they received the money it in a grant.
After this "evaluation" software has been developed they will award worthy individuals incentives out of the teacher incentive fund.

Why do they need a software program created to the tune of just under $2.9 MILLION to help them evaluate educators. Ask the parents. Ask the principals. See what the children are actually learning on a daily basis. All these elements should help you evaluate educators just fine! Be more prudent with your spending.
While this may be transparent spending of grant money, I ask, is this a good choice?

Just another example of poor spending choices by the CCSD School Board.
