2. GWAR add Nailed Shut to 'Gor Gor Must Die Tour' (nextmosh.com) — GWAR's Gor Gor Must Die Tour now features Nailed Shut as support and includes a November 6 stop at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach. The tour, running from late October through mid-December, spans major U.S. and Canadian cities while the band mourns the recent deaths of guitarist Andy Williams of Atomic Rule and founding member Chuck Varga.
3. One Of The Biggest Seafood Buffets In The US Has Over 170 Items To Choose From (And It's Not In Las Vegas) (tastingtable.com) — A long-running North Kings Highway favorite, The Original Benjamin's Calabash Seafood, is drawing national attention for its massive 170-item buffet and nautical-themed setting. 4. Horry County officer named in Scott Spivey lawsuit is demoted. Here's why (myrtlebeachonline.com) — Horry County police have demoted Detective John Sotile and reassigned Capt. Greg Lent, who now leads the new 5th Precinct serving the Carolina Forest community in the Myrtle Beach area. The moves come amid a federal wrongful-death lawsuit alleging investigators mishandled a 2023 roadside shooting case, with detailed accusations that officers favored one of the shooters, a North Myrtle Beach restaurant owner.
