Today I'll tell you about the traffic plan for this weekend's CCMFest, GSATS is in continued talks about the traffic headaches at Waccamaw Neck, Horry County Schools comes up with its 2021-2022 academic year plan, a Doordash employee and mom gets matched up with unclaimed funds, and sports tourism in Myrtle Beach gets a boost in spite of the pandemic.

- Myrtle Beach has announced a special traffic plan for this weekend's Carolina Country Music Fest. The outdoor festival always draws a huge crowd that impacts traffic patterns. The city wanted to be well-prepared this year ahead of the event. (WMBF)
- Speaking of traffic, Grand Strand Area Transportation Study staffers are aiming for additional meetings to assess the area between Highway 17 Bypass and Highway 17 Business in Murrells Inlet. The troublesome Waccamaw Neck frequently goes into gridlock. (WPDE)
- Horry County Schools introduced its plan for the 2021-2022 academic year, with post-pandemic in-person classes and removal of plexiglass dividers in classrooms. The district budget was also approved at the meeting. (WBTW)

- Sports tourism in Myrtle Beach actually scored big during the pandemic, much to the delight of Director Tim Huber who was interviewed recently by ABC15's Liz Cooper. (WPDE)

- Brian Scott Roessler performs at Tin Roof Myrtle Beach. Enjoy the sounds and the great view of the Atlantic Ocean! (6 pm)
- Shelley Sasser performs acoustic tunes live at Broadway at the Beach. (7 pm)
- Kroger stores will hold a job fair for all South Carolina stores Thursday, June 10th. The event is both in-person and online. 1400 jobs are available statewide. (June 10)
