Here are the top stories in Myrtle Beach today:

  1. In a statement, Myrtle Beach Police say that Sheridan Wahl left Myrtle Beach "safely" prior to her body being found in Florence County, 45 miles away. Myrtle Beach Police Department handed the case over to SLED on Monday when it became clear that the investigation was outside of MBPD's jurisdiction. SLED has not revealed details of the investigation, nor have they named a person or persons of interest. (WMBF)
  2. A couple accused of having sex on the Myrtle Beach Skywheel and in a community pool in order to make pornographic videos in January were arrested again on Wednesday for allegedly doing the same in a photo booth at a Garden City arcade. Police reports say Eric and Lori Harmon were arrested and charged with indecent exposure and other charges including sharing at least one video on social media. They both pleaded guilty to the earlier charges, and have faced similar accusations on a number of other occasions. They are being held in Long Detention Center on $2000 bond each. (WBTW)

A Carolina Forest man is facing 10 counts of child sexual abuse material charges in connection with the sexual exploitation of minors after a task force investigation effort by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Horry County Sheriff's Office. 4. 80-year-old John Farr is departing Horry County this morning for an 800 mile bicycle trip to benefit Habitat for Humanity. Farr is from Pennsylvania, but traveled to Myrtle Beach to start the trip. The event is called Bike 2 Build, and this is the 16th time Farr has participated in the ride. About me: The best decision I ever made was relocating to the Myrtle Beach area from New England a few years ago, with my three dogs and three cats. I enjoy dogs, cats, road trips, photography, writing, vegetarian food, live music, bicycling and above all my daily walks on the beaches in and around the Grand Strand.
