Michael A. Criscuolo, 60, of East Haven passed away peacefully at his home on February 3, 2026. Loving father of Benjamin S. Criscuolo of East Haven, Joseph L. Criscuolo of Farmington and Nathan L. Criscuolo of Branford. Grandfather of Eli and Noah Criscuolo. Brother of Anthony L. Criscuolo, Steven (AnnMarie) Criscuolo, Michelle (Alex) Marcell, Brenda Purvis and Richard (Lucy) Purvis. Nephew of William and Joan Messina and Paul and Elaine Keeler. Michael was born in New Haven on September 17, 1965 son of Candace M. Keeler Criscuolo of East Haven and Michael Purvis of Myrtle Beach, SC. Stepson of Anthony Criscuolo of East Haven. Michael is also survived by his former wife, Joanna Pantani Criscuolo, of Branford. At the time of his death, Michael was working as a medical courier for Capstone Logistics. He faithfully served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps Michael graduated from East Haven High School in 1984 and enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps the same year, serving four years on active duty followed by two years in the reserves. He worked as an electrical apprentice for a period of time. Growing up, Michael was an avid football and baseball player. He was active in the Branford baseball community. Michael had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed riding his Harley‑Davidson, taking many trips to Laconia for Bike Week. He was the owner and operator of the Brickhouse Restaurant from 1996 to 2009. He cherished time spent with his family and friends, and Thanksgiving was the holiday he held closest to his heart.

Family and friends are invited to a parlor service in the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven FRIDAY evening, February 13, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
