City leaders say the recodification will clean up outdated or missing laws, align local rules with current South Carolina statutes, and make regulations easier for Simpsonville residents to find and understand online.
• McMaster signs supplemental spending bill directing $9.2 million to Golden Strip projects (whosonthemove.com) — Simpsonville is set to receive $915,000 in one-time state funding for infrastructure improvements as part of a $9.2 million Golden Strip package just signed by Gov. McMaster. The supplemental spending bill also directs millions to Mauldin and Fountain Inn, while outlining conditions on how and when these earmarked dollars must be verified, released, and used.
