With registration deadlines passed, you can still choose early voting between October 19 and 31 or vote at your regular precinct on November 3, with local contacts and SCVotes.gov available for questions and sample ballots.

Simpsonville Police Department hosts annual National Night Out at Heritage Park (wyff4.com) β Simpsonville families can head to Heritage Park tonight from 6β8 p.m. for the police department's free National Night Out, featuring NASCAR driver Daniel SuΓ‘rez, kids' activities, and food. You'll be able to meet local officers, firefighters, EMS, and public works staff, enjoy performances tied to Hispanic Heritage Month, and let the kids explore bouncy houses, games, and a petting zoo.

3. Former NFL QB Shares Frightening Cardiac Arrest Story From Son's Football Game (gridironheroics.com) β A flag football game at Simpsonville's Gracely Park turned lifeβthreatening when former NFL quarterback Connor Shaw went into sudden cardiac arrest on the field, saved by quick CPR and an AED. His experience inspired the launch of HRTHUDL, a nonprofit now placing defibrillators and offering CPR training across South Carolina, including at parks, schools, and recreation fields like those your family may use.

Month: October 2026 (clemson.edu) β Greenville 4-H kicked off its new year with an open house and then showcased youth livestock projects at the South Greenville Fair in Simpsonville, highlighting local students' work with goats, dairy cows, and rabbits. The broader Extension update also covers obesity-education programs in nearby Fountain Inn and horticulture and livestock field days that support Upstate homeowners and farmers.
