• Report of suspicious person approaching child at Heritage Park leads to increased police presence (wyff4.com) — Police have stepped up security at Heritage Park and other Simpsonville parks after a report that a woman, accompanied by a man, allegedly approached a child and tried to remove them. Although officers couldn't corroborate the claim, they're taking precautions and urging residents to immediately report any suspicious behavior they see in city parks.
