14-year-old Charged with Carrying Concealed Weapon

deputies arrested a 14-year-old boy for allegedly carrying a 12-inch kitchen knife and section of a metal ambulatory crutch Oct. 15 near the 1200 block of Maryland Drive in Ladson.

The deputies responded to the scene after a call about a juvenile yelling profanities in the street, according to the incident report.

Juveniles are not identified in incident reports so the student's name and address have been withheld.

When deputies allegedly discovered the knife and piece of crutch on the subject, the juvenile did not offer an explanation, according to the incident report.
