19-year-old Charged in Murder of Fellow Teen
Dorchester County deputies have charged four teens in connection with the death of William Michael Cummings Jr. on Dec. 19 at Azalea Park Apartments.
Four teenagers face charges surrounding , in what deputies now allege was a drug-deal gone bad.
Dorchester County deputies have charged Dana Andrew Butler, Jr., 19, with two counts of armed robbery and one count of murder. Butler was denied bond.
Enphaine Michelle Swarez, 17, and Ramara Lashay Stroman, 19, each face one count of criminal conspiracy. Swarez has a $40,000 bond, and Stroman was denied bond.

When deputies responded Dec. 19 to a possible shooting on Orangeburg Road, they found Cummings dead from a single gunshot wound to the chest, according to Public Information Officer John Garrison. Cummings was inside a vehicle on the road.
Through investigation it was learned that the actual shooting had taken place in the parking lot of the and was possibly the result of a drug deal gone bad, Garrison said.

Anthony Pierce, 17, who was driving the vehicle with Cummings, was arrested and charged with possession with the intent to distribute marijuana and criminal conspiracy. He is currently under $25,000 bond.
