320 Commercial Batteries Missing from TWC
Summerville Police arrest James Laprade and Paul Romon Watson for allegedly stealing $3,000 in equipment from Time Warner Cable.

A Time Warner Cable employee told Summerville Police that 320 commercial batteries, valued at $200 each, are missing from the facility on 410 Trolley Road.
On Jan. 4, police arrested James Laprade of North Charleston and Paul Romon Watson after a neighboring resident witnessed them allegedly at the facility after hours and driving a sedan through a cut hole in the fence. Executing a traffic stop, police found $3,000 worth of commercial batteries — or 15 batteries — in their possession, according to the incident report.
"Those batteries are from my work ... I'm not supposed to have them," Laprade allegedly told the police.
