An invitation is extended to all who would like to attend this celebration. Bring lawn chairs, blankets, picnic baskets and coolers. There has been a permit secured for those who like to enjoy wine and beer on such occasions.
There will be musical performances by students from Summerville School District II and by the Summerville Community Orchestra. There will be students from Pinewood present to speak about their experience with a global learning community. Mayor Collins, Willie Givens, Jed Suddeth, Johnny Linton, Chris Nowell and Caleb Stevens will all be offering brief remarks on the importance of freedom, and understanding the challenges of achieving freedom.
