In an incident report for an armed robbery and kidnapping in St. George that occured Sunday, which lists Dozier as the suspect, authorities say Dozier is wanted in connection to an attempted homicide in Jacksonville. The incident report was provided to Patch by The Dorchester Eagle-Record.
According to the St. George incident report, which is prior to the Dorchester County report of the carjacking, the suspect bought gas and beer at the gas station, and then returned to steal $231 at gunpoint. The station clerk was then ordered into the freezer, where she remained until the suspect left. She reported that Dozier then fled to I-95 in an unknown direction, driving a car with Florida plates.
St. George police report the vehicle was stolen from Jacksonville, Fla., and was later found abandoned near the I-26/I-95 interchange.
