Prosecutors say he also sold a pistol with its serial number removed and was later caught with large quantities of drugs in Myrtle Beach, underscoring ongoing regional efforts against trafficking.
   

• South Carolina hunters get extra doe tag, creating new opportunity to donate venison (live5news.com) — South Carolina deer hunters now get an extra doe tag, and that added harvest can be donated as venison to local charities, including Summerville Meals on Wheels. A Lowcountry processor and Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry are teaming up so donated deer become thousands of pounds of free, high-quality meat for soup kitchens, feeding ministries, and veterans groups across the Charleston area.
