Summerville, SC: Carolina Ale House Shooting Leaves Three Hospitalized After Fight (theunionstar.com) — Three people were hospitalized after a fight at the Carolina Ale House in Summerville's Nexton area turned into a shooting early Friday morning. Police have not released victim details or a motive and have not confirmed any arrests, but they're asking anyone with information to contact the Summerville Police Department as the investigation continues.
   

2. Celebration of life planned for Dorchester County detective sergeant (live5news.com) — A public Celebration of Life for Dorchester County Detective Sergeant Tracy D. Cowee Jr. will be held in Summerville on Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 1 p.m. at Seacoast Church on East 5th North Street. Residents are invited to join his family and colleagues in honoring his decade of law enforcement service and his deep commitment to the community.
   

3. Sweet Tea Festival returns to Summerville for 15th year (counton2.com) — Downtown Summerville is wrapping up its 15th annual Sweet Tea Festival today, with vendors, live music, and plenty of sweet tea filling the streets from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Local businesses and groups like Flowertown Players are using the event to meet newcomers and showcase what they offer as the town continues to grow.
   

4. Catawba Ridge vs Summerville (maxpreps.com) — Summerville High's Green Wave volleyball team fell 2–0 at home to Catawba Ridge in a non-league match, dropping their record to 9–8. The Summerville squad now turns its attention to a non-league matchup against Wando, giving local fans another chance to see how the team responds and builds momentum.
