• Walmart employee pushes man into display, fires shot inside SC store, report says (wyff4.com) — Police say an altercation between two men at the North Main Street Walmart in Summerville ended when a current employee allegedly fired a shot inside the store and fled. No one was injured, but a ceiling tile was damaged, and the suspect has not been found, leaving officers still investigating the workplace-related dispute.
• Identical twin umpires make MLB history by suiting up together (usatoday.com) — Two identical twin umpires who grew up in Summerville just made Major League Baseball history by working the same game together for the first time.
