• Mount Pleasant man convicted in federal fentanyl distribution case; additional firearm offenses (counton2.com) — A multi-agency task force, including the Summerville Police Department, helped secure a federal conviction against a Mount Pleasant man for fentanyl trafficking and firearm offenses tied to the Charleston area. He faces at least 10 years in prison after agents intercepted drugs, a loaded gun, and cash during a 2022 traffic stop, part of a broader Homeland Security Task Force initiative.
