Backhoe Stolen from Dorchester Road Construction

A backhoe has been reported missing from the construction site along Dorchester Road, which is being widened. 

According to the Dorchester County Sheriff's report, L & L Contractors reported the backhoe missing March 5. It is thought the Caterpillar backhoe was taken between 4:45 p.m. March 4 and 5:44 a.m. March 5. 

The backhoe was a recent purchase for the company, but it had green graffiti sprayed on either side of it and a malfunctioning glovebox. 

Two or three men can be seen on surveillance entering the property and driving a trailer onto the property. They can be seen loading the backhoe, according to the report.
