Body Found Along I-26 (Update)
S.C. Highway Patrol said a body was discovered Thursday morning near the 178 mile marker; details pending.

S.C. Highway Patrol reports that a crew cutting grass along westbound I-26 discovered a body in the median near mile marker 178.
According to Dorchester County Coroner Chris Nisbet, the body appears to have been dead for about a month.
Because of decomposition, the coroner has not determined race or age of the individual but did say the body appeared to be male. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday morning to determine the cause of death and identity.
