Boy Gives Life Savings to Family in Need

The Post and Courier highlights young do-gooder.

When a fellow student lost his home to a fire Dec. 13, 8-year-old Fischer Cook decided to give away his life savings: $300. 

The story appears in Thursday's Post and Courier. 

On Dec. 13, Red Cross volunteers were called to the scene of a home fire at 942 Orangeburg Road in Summerville to assist a family of six, including three children (one being an infant). The home was destroyed.
