Hi gentle reader,
I'm glad to be with you this beautiful day. We were lucky that we didn't get the weather that other folks got including tornadoes. Can I ask you a question, it's kind of personal, but I think it affects all of us.
The question is: "Do you lack motivation?" let me see your hands. How many of you have this challenge. I see, most of us have the same problem.

Years ago, gentle reader, I had a problem with quit smoking and drinking. I tried many times but failed miserably. Finally, I found the secret to quit drinking. The solution was really simple. Just don't go to where alcohol is being served. Then I wouldn't be tempted.
Smoking is a whole different story. At that time, no matter where you went people were smoking at work, restaurants, buses, cars, well.... you get the idea. It seemed like you just could not escape because everybody was smoking. It was so very hard for me to follow through on my decision not to smoke.

As I found out, I lacked self-motivation. Since everywhere I went people were smoking I had no motivation to quit. I tried several times, but to no avail.
Can I tell you a secret gentle reader, how I finally quit. I found I needed to be motivated and positive way. The secret is, motivation over the long haul, comes when you learn to truly appreciate what you have aleady accomplished and give yourself authority to accomplished and value the successes that you have. You see, I forgot all about my successes like quit drinking and I was focusing on the that a everybody was smoking and using that as a crutch. When you truly appreciate your successes and not look at the other guy you win. By adopting this frame of mind, you'll find that you are internally motivated to accomplish your goal as well as others. And, that can change your motivation into Accomplishment!
The take away from all of this, is, I appreciate all that I have and my previous successes and those yet to come. I apply that to my walk along the Alzheimer's Road as well which is full of opportunities
Well, I got a go. My full laundry basket is calling me and I have procrastinated enough. So gentle reader, I'll see you round the corner the next time we can chat.
