Summerville's Old Town Hall
Once known as the "heart of the old village", the Old Town Hall brings back some memories of times long ago.
The Old Town Hall can be found at 201 W. Carolina Ave, in the middle of what was Summerville, back in the 1800's. It was built around 1860, and used for 32 years as Summerville's Town Hall. It's easy to drive by now, hidden behind tall azaleas, with just a historic marker on the side of the road. But I enjoyed stopping and getting a closer look at this historic building in Summerville.
