To Dine or Not to Dine: Summerville Patch Food Blog
To Dine or Not To Dine: An honest opinion from a guy's and girl's persective on restaurants in the Summerville/Charleston area!

Out of all the different things one can choose to do on any given evening, we always seem to come back to the same thing: eating. Enjoying good food, a glass of wine, beer, or cocktail, and relaxing together helps us unwind better than anything else. Heck, even when we decide to make a dinner together at home, we end up watching cooking shows while we eat!
We are food fanatics.
My name is Matt Davis. I'm the husband. I enjoy almost any well-prepared meal you put in front of me. My taste buds really don't dislike anything if it's put together the right way. I'll eat anchovies on pizza, escargot (snails: delicious), but still enjoy a simple peanut butter and jelly as much as anyone else. I'll admit, my wife's pallate is more refined than mine, but I am the price-saavy one. A good deal makes good food taste a whole lot better to me!

My name is Leah Davis. I'm the wife! I love trying new restaurants, new bars, and new types of food. When Matt and I first met, he ate at two places- McDonald's and this place called Buddha Belly. I actually like Buddha Belly (curry smelling, fried rice, hipster place)...I knew if he liked that place, he would like a few of my favorites too. We did sushi, more fried rice, pizza places, a WHOLE lotta bars, and we have come to realize food is a passion for both of us.
We moved to Summerville a little over a year ago due to Leah's Air Force career. Matt is a teacher in Moncks Corner. Over the past year, we have been able to enjoy the Charleston culture, cuisine, and community.

This blog's purpose is to give you, the readers, two perspectives- a his and a hers point of view. Food is a universal thing that brings people together. Everyone has to eat. But people have different opinions about what tastes great and makes them WANT to eat.
We will be visiting a new place weekly, and will post photos and two takes on whether it's worth your hard-earned cash. Please feel free to leave suggestions of places you'd like us to visit below!
Back to you soon,
Matt & Leah
