What's Blooming in the Flowertown?
A photo collection of what's blooming in Summerville, the Flowertown in the Pines.
It is the middle of Crape Myrtle blooming season, and pinks, purples and whites fill Summerville yards and parks. But beyond the obvious, lots of other flowers can be found. I found some very pretty Red Bottle Brush flowers out near Jedburg. Town Hall has some bright perennials. And be carefull when climbing around in the Crape Myrtle bushes, it's also a favorite time of year for banana spiders!
