Candidate to Challenge Scott

Real estate agent Bobbie Rose intends to file Tuesday to challenge freshman for representation of the state's District 1 in Washington, D.C. 

The Democrat announced her intention to file Friday via press release. 

According to her campaign information, Rose has experience as a real estate agent, broker, teacher and businesswoman. She has been appointed by the governor to serve on the S.C. Foster Care Review Board.

Scott faced a Democratic opponent in 2008, Ben Frasier and trounced him by winning more than 65 percent of the vote.
