Carter Outraises Knight for S.C. District 97 Race
Incumbent Rep. Patsy Knight sees less donations.

S.C. House District 97 has raised nearly $14,000 with the lion's share going to Republican challenger Ed Carter.
Carter is vying for the seat occupied by incumbent Democrat Rep. Patsy Knight.
Knight has raised $2,750.40 among six donations, and Carter has raised $11,165.45 among 54 donations, according to a six-month report obtained from the S.C. Ethics Comission Oct. 15. However, most of the funds raised does not reflect the general election fund raising effort. Those reports will be made available later this month.
