Charleston Attorney Shawn Pinkston Enters SC1 GOP Race

Shawn Pinkston, an Iraq war veteran and attorney with Hall Boone Smith in Charleston, entered the GOP race for the 1st congressional district on Monday.

Pinkston, according to his work profile, served in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps while stationed at Fort Stewart, Ga. and is a decorated veteran of the Iraq War. 

Pinkston previously served as communications director for the Kentucky Senate President and held the same position for the U.S. Rep Ron Lewis.
