Do you have problems concentrating? Gentle reader I do. A lot of it has to do with my Alzheimer's which is something I can't do anything about but nevertheless, I find that from me, the beginning of the afternoon is the best time for me to do things that require concentration.
Gentle reader, I am and I never have been a morning person. Everyone else is dropping in energy level around 2 PM. I find that I am at my peak. So I try to use early and mid-afternoons to do things that I need to concentrate on.
Most afternoons, gentle reader, my wife is taking a nap so I have the whole house to myself. It's during these times, that I try to do the things that I need to really concentrate on. The television is off and there is no other noise in the house- it's perfectly quiet.
As a result, I reserve those hours that I need to concentrate on different things. Writing letters and emails as well as answering them. I all would use this time to do my reading and Bible study. And so gentle reader, I guess what I am saying gentle reader, we should find our special time of day in which we can do the things that need high concentration and then block it out and use it to our advantage. I have found by doing this I accomplish my goals that I have set before me to do.
