Council Addresses Vacant Position Today
Dorchester County Councilman Bailey reports on the emergency management director position during the Summerville meeting of county council.

After announcing a change of heart regarding filling the vacant emergency management director position (), Dorchester County Council Vice Chairman George Bailey is expected to recommend hiring a full-time, accredited director during tonight's regular meeting of council.
The meeting is 7 p.m. Monday, July 18, at council's chambers in Summerville.
Bailey chairs the public safety, health and human services committee meeting where the vacant position will be addressed among him, Richard Rosebrock and David Chinnis prior to the council meeting. That committee meets at 6:30 p.m.
