County Approves Re-Bid for 165 Project
County council votes to re-bid expansion of Highway 165 near Ashley Ridge High.
After executive session Wednesday, County Council unanimously approved reopening bids for the Highway 165 project.
A bid was previously awarded for the project when funding only allowed the two-lane road to expand to three lanes, but now funding will allow the road to expand to five lanes , according to county Administrator Jason Ward.
Engineers are asked to submit qualifications beginning Thursday, he said.
