County Goes Paperless
Dorchester County Council agrees to purchase $755 tablets.
During Tuesday's regular meeting, county council unanimously agreed to purchase 12 Fujitso Q550 tablets.
The tablets will help the council go "paperless" during meetings, and the cost is $755 plus tax each tablet, according Dorchester County Clerk of Court Sandy Lawley. Lawley said the county now must get three quotes prior to purchase.
