County Hires EM Director
Mario Formisano begins as Dorchester County's emergency management director Sept. 26.
Dorchester County Administrator Jason Ward announced Tuesday the county has hired Mario Formisano as the new director of emergency management, a position which has been vacant for months.
Formisana, of Charleston County, begins his new post Sept. 26.
According to a memo by Ward, Formisano has been working as S.C. Emergency Management Division's Region 5 manager. Region 5 includes Berkeley, Charleston, Claredon, Dorchester, Georgetown, Sumter and Williamsburg counties.
