County Likely to Soon Hire Emergency Director

Dorchester County may soon fill its vacant emergency management director position.

After receiving about 40 applications for the position, Dorchester County will interview five of the top candidates Thursday and Friday, according to county administrator Jason Ward.

A decision on who will fill the position could be made as soon as Friday, he said.
