Dance Boutique Opens on N. Cedar Street

A new boutique for the young dancer has opened on North Cedar Street. 

Owner Luvon Hudson is a bit of an expert on girls who love dancing — after all, she has three. Her daughters have been dancing since they were 3 years old. 

"When you're a little girl, you sing, you dance and you twirl," Hudson said.

As each little dancer grew, Hudson would try to find affordable, quality dance gear, but would come up short on local options and found buying online inconvenient. So, she decided to open up her own shop. 

"We can't be the only omes going around town looking for affordable dance wear to have right now," Hudson said. 

The shop offers the basics for dancing — leotards, tights and more. Hudson said her prices are competitive with online prices, but without cost of shipping. Twirl offers clothing sizes for girls 3 years old to size 16. 

The shop's hours are 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday.
