DD2 Selects Teachers of the Year
Dorchester County School District Two schools name their Teachers of the Year.

Twenty-three Dorchester Two teachers have been selected by their respective schools as Teacher of the Year. These teachers will go on to participate in the annual District Teacher of the Year selection process, which will culminate May 8 during the celebration dinner.

The selected teachers of the year will submit nomination packets to the district, and five honor teachers will be chosen. A committee of community members will select the Dorchester School District Two Teacher of the Year for 2012 from among the five honor teachers.
"Quality teachers and quality instruction make our school district one of the best in South Carolina," Superintendent Joe Pye said in a district press release. "There is no question that the caliber of our teaching staff is largely responsible for the success our students achieve year in and year out."
