Polls open 7 a.m. Tuesday, closing at 7 p.m., for residents of Lincolnville, North Charleston and Charleston.

Lincolnville: Three council seats are up for grabs and four candidates. The term is through November 2015. Two incumbents are up for reelection. The candidates are Larry Brown, Barbara Dease, Charles Duberry and Leland Shannon.

North Charleston: The mayor and eight council seats are challenged. . District 1 Councilman Ed Astle is challenged by Gregory Deese. Russell Coletti challenges District 3 Councilman Bobby Jameson. New princint, District 4, will see three challengers vie for the seat: Vernon Pryor, Brian Hill and Ron Brinson. District 9 Councilman Dwight Stigler is challenged by Kenny Skipper. City of Charleston: The mayor and seven council seats are up for grabs this election cycle. Four challengers — David Farrow, William Gregorie, Craig Jelks and Joshua Kennedy — vie for Mayor Joe Riley's long-held position.
