Dorchester Republican Chair Injured at Forum

Dorchester County Republican Party Chair is recovering in Trident Hospital after slipping down the steps of the Sottile Theater Saturday morning  in downtown Charleston.

S.C. Sen. Mike Rose, R-Summerville, witnessed the incident and sent an email to constituents early Monday morning to let them know she was recovering. 

According to Rose, Duncan broke two lower bones and ankle in her left leg. She underwent surgery.

"We felt helpless as we witnessed her obvious pain and feared she may have broken her neck. Fortunately she did not," Rose wrote.
