Drive-By Shooting Reported in Ladson
Charleston County Sheriff's deputies respond to alleged drive-by shooting Sunday night; victim sustains mild injury.

An alleged drive-by shooting took place around 6 p.m. Sunday in a Ladson subdivision off of Highway 78, according to Charleston County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded to 9980 Berrywood Drive in Woodside Subdivision in reference to the incident. Upon arrival deputies located a male subject who had sustained a graze wound to the elbow. The victim refused treatment by EMS.
Deputies were advised that the victim was shot by a person who exited a black-in-color SUV, which had been in the area and may have been involved in an earlier altercation where shots were reported to have been exchanged. No further description of the suspects or vehicle have been provided to law enforcement. A check of the area for the suspect(s) or vehicle proved negative.
