AMERICAN HISTORY IN BLACK & WHITE

A historical documentary, “American History in Black and White,” will be shown at the Seago Library in Summerville on Friday, February 8, from 1 until 4 p.m.  The documentary was created in 2006 by historian David Barton of Wallbuilders, an organization dedicated to presenting America’s forgotten history and heroes. 

Aisha Thurman will lead a short discussion following the documentary.  Thurman is the host of the internet radio show “Foundations,” every Thursday night from 5 to 7 p.m. at www.kinetichifi.com.  

This is an excellent learning tool for home schooled students.

The documentary is being presented by the LowCountry 9.12 Project, which meets on the first Tuesday of every month, 7 p.m., at the Holiday Inn Express in Summerville.
