If you have always harbored a secret longing to sing and dance your way to fame and fortune, Summervilel Dream has the opportunity for you! Interested participants are invited to apply to audition privately to become a semi-finalist contestant to perform at the May or June Third Thursday (May 17th and June 21st). Advancement to the finals at the July Third Thursday (July 19th, 2012) will be based on the judges’ evaluations as well as public voting available the nights of the competitions. Contestants from age 8 and up are invited to participate—musicians, bands, singers and dancers as well other forms of entertainment are encouraged to audition. There will be two age groups—8-15 years and 16 & older. Open to Dorchester and Berkeley Co. residents. Entry fee of $10 for each individual performer.
