In Brownfield's new debut novel titled Secrets of the Enemy, Summerville native and Presidentila aide Chelsea Merrill and Secrect Service agent, Jasper Peters-Templeton become targets of terrorists when a counteragent is killed trying to deliver a message to the President who is giving a commencement address at a prestigious university in the upstate.

Meanwhile, French pop/rock star Charm Dumotte has also become a target and handsome Irishman Donnell McKinnon of Interpol is assigned to protect her and her team and discover why she is in the terrorists' crosshairs.

When Charm's concerts come to America, Donnell begins to suspect that the two cases are connected. In a thrilling race against time, the final bombing attempt boils down Charm's concert at the North Charleston Coliseum.
