Cub Scout Pack 788 to Host Flapjack Fundraiser
(SUMMERVILLE, S.C.) —The Apple Gold Group, a franchisee of Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar, is proud to partner with Cub Scout Pack 788 to host a Flapjack Fundraiser on Saturday, December 8, 2012. All proceeds raised will go toward the pack’s expenses.

“Cub Scout Pack 788 plans to use the funds generated from the pancake breakfast to purchase awards for the boys and fund various activities throughout the year,” said Michael Olander, President and CEO of the Apple Gold Group. “Please show your support for these young men by attending the Flapjack Fundraiser on December 8th.”

The Cub Scout Pack 788 fundraiser will be hosted by the Applebee’s restaurant located at 1310 N. Main St., Summerville, SC, starting at 8 a.m. Tickets for the Flapjack Fundraiser are $7 and can be purchased by contacting Tracy Hirsch at (843) 771-2665. Breakfast includes a short stack of pancakes, sausage, milk, juice and coffee.
Applebee’s is proud to partner with local nonprofit organizations as a way to raise money for their cause. From ticket sales to event-day staff, the breakfasts are managed by the nonprofit organization with the assistance of Applebee’s employee volunteers. Breakfasts can be held on Saturday or Sunday morning, and cost the organization around $2 a meal. The Applebee’s Flapjack Fundraisers represent the restaurant chain’s latest efforts to remain active within its local neighborhood.
