Dorchester Democrats' Precinct Reorganization Meetings (lower county)

The biennial Precinct Reorganization meetings of the Dorchester County Democratic Party are scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday, Mar. 3.

Each individual precinct will elect a president and a representative to the DCDP executive committee, as well as other precinct officers.

Residents of the following precincts are invited to attend this meeting:

Archdale, Archdale 2, Ashborough East, Ashborough East 2, Ashborough West, Ashborough West 2, Ashley River, Bacons Bridge, Beech Hill, Beech Hill 2, Brandymill, Brandymill 2, Briarwood, Briarwood 2, Briarwood 3, Butternut, Carolina, Central, Central 2, Clemson, Clemson 2, Clemson 3, Coastal, Coastal 2, Coastal 3, Coosaw,   Coosaw 2, Cypress, Dorchester, Dorchester 2, Flowertown, Flowertown 2, Germantown, Givhans, Givhans 2, Greenhurst, Greenwave, Irongate, Irongate 2, Irongate 3, Kings Grant, Kings Grant 2, Knightsville, Lincoln,   Miles/Jamison, Newington, Newington 2, North Summerville, North Summerville 2, Oakbrook, Patriot, Saul Dam,  Sawmill Branch, Spann, Stallsville, Tranquil, Tranquil 2, Trolley, Tupperway, Windsor

The only eligibility requirements are for interested persons to be registered voters who will actively participate with the Democratic Party, especially in this election year.

Delegates to DCDP’s County Convention, scheduled for Mar. 19, will also be chosen at the Mar. 3 meeting.

Precincts from the northern portion of Dorchester County will meet at the same time and date at the Waggoner County Services Bldg in St. George.

The Precinct Reorganization meeting also serves as the Democratic Party's presidential primary election.
