PETE LEDBETTER - SINGER/SONGWRITER - IN CONCERT - IN CONJUNCTION WITH THIRD THURSDAY EVENT



Pete Ledbetter has been making music throughout the southeast for almost three decades, He is a vet-eran of South Carolina Public Radio as well as nu-merous ‘live” radio shows and broadcasts. He has been a featured performer for the City of Charleston Department of Cultural Affairs for over 15 years and has appeared at schools and colleges throughout the Carolinas. Pete has appeared at Piccolo Spoleto and the Charleston Blues and Heritage Festival as well as touring listening rooms, clubs cafés and other venues. His show includes a blend of acoustic finger style blues, classic American and Irish folk and Americana as well as humorous stories and anecdotes about life in the south and vignettes about growing up in the Carolina low country. His wry sense of humor and commentary on modern life add to the folksy charm. Pete has opened for or appeared on stage with The Kingston Trio, Mike Cross, Gamble Rogers, Michael Peter Smith, Ann Hills, Edwin McCain and a host of others. Some comments about him:
