The event will be held in the parking lot of Lowe’s on North Main Street. The Fire Department, U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, Charleston County Parks Department, MUSC’e Burned Children’s Fund, and Hearing Care of Summerville will be represented in the parade and at the event.
Popcorn, cotton candy, and hotdogs will be available, as well as area vendors.
The parade route starts at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17 at Summerville Medical Center and moves down Midland Parkway to Trolley Road to Main Street, Evans said. It is expected to arrive at Lowe’s between 6:15 and 6:30 p.m., he said.
