The South Carolina Humanites Council Festival is coming to Summerville. Four days of events and tours and opportunities. Thursday's events begin with a welcome to Summerville Third Thursday event and on Friday there will be a grant writing class at the Dorchester County Library. Friday afternoon will also offer a seminar of speakers at the library on SC History. On Saturday there will be a tour of downtown Summerville with Mr. Tim Lowry followed by lunch at the Timrod Library. Friday night and Saturday night will be filled with Keynote speakers, storytelling by Mr. Lowry and local music programs. Stay tuned for more information about upcoming events during this festival.
