William Kinard had lived nearly two years in and near the Montreal, Quebec, Canada area, known for its eclectic music scene and also took a voyage for nearly three years through many countries in Europe where he explored various music styles such as Spanish, Middle eastern, Gipsy, African and Greek. He started out with guitar in his early 20's and now for the past five years he has collected instruments from various countries such as Iran, Turkey, Canada, USA and Europe, learning to play them mostly on his own through feeling and observing others. He has performed them for cafes, restaurants, art galleries, special events and also busking on streets throughout Europe, USA and Quebec, Canada. Taking his experiences, people he has met and places hehas seen, he weaves it into his music while crossing streams of ambient, spiritual, and romantic melodies. His musictakes us on a journey, a magic carpet ride through the world. His main instruments are guitar, violin, kamanche of Iran, Heron of Asheville, NC, piano, and German made sansula (kalimba) of African origins.
